How did other people feel about the way the novel was presented as a series of letters?

Me tuppence ha'penny 'n' all  Smiley

Jaysus, that post was all over the bleeding place and I wrote way more than I expected to. Sorry! In short, I think it's a really sophisticated novel with loads of concepts going on, or at least suggested, which provide few answers but plenty of food for thought. It's top stuff.

Also, here's is a radio interview with author Lionel Shriver on the BBC website from the time of the book's release.

Sex, drugs and... sausage rolls!

We're adults. When did that happen, and how do we make it stop?
